What it is
A one-hour guided tour, in English, of St James Cavalier in Valletta. The cavalier is a large raised gun platform built by the Order of St John in the 1560s; it now houses Spazju Kreattiv, the national centre for creativity. The tour covers the interior, the water cistern below and the roof, which looks out over the city and the harbour. Most of it is indoors, so it works in the heat or in poor weather.
It runs on Wednesday 10 June 2026 at 16:00, with a further date on 15 July, and costs €15. It starts at Spazju Kreattiv on Pjazza Kastilja, at the top of Valletta next to the Upper Barrakka Gardens, a short walk from the bus terminus. Places are limited, so book ahead.
