Scubatech: Mostly in terms of repeat customers! Our divers keep coming back – partly because Malta is a great diving destination but also because of who we are. Our customers have become good personal friends, they like our small group and personal approach, our safety-first mindset and not being rushed throughout the day. They are on vacation and we take our time!

Question: You make a point of diving in small groups rather than “cattle diving.” What difference does that make for guests in real life?

Scubatech: More personal attention, safer dives and no rush to get into and out of the water. Also just more relaxed in the morning in the dive centre sorting out equipment and getting ready to dive.

Question: What kind of diver tends to get the most out of diving with Scubatech: first-timers, experienced recreational divers, technical divers, or mixed groups?

Scubatech: All of the above although we limit our technical diving to 55 meters and normoxic Trimix. We do ty to match divers of similar experience and qualification levels in a group.

Scubatech: Cirkewwa Marine Park – generally the best underwater life and also 2 great wrecks. Um el Faroud wreck – because it’s size, it’s just very impressive. Raz il Hobz on Gozo – great reef dive with usually good sea life and it’s gives a sense of adventure down the rugged coast. Xatt ‘L Ahmar/Red Bay on Gozo for deeper wreck dives and experienced divers. Blue Hole and Inland Sea on Gozo – divers love the tunnel and also the rugged rocks underwater from the former Azure Window. Reqqa Point Gozo – great reef dive and good underwater life. Also Billinghurst cave and Cathedral cave for experienced divers. Also of course Comino dives – Santa Maria caves, Lantern Point and the P31 wreck.
