What it is
Heritage Malta's "Ask the Curator" is a one-hour Q&A set up at the Visitor Centre of St Paul's Catacombs in Rabat. The curator on duty answers anything visitors throw at them about Malta's early Christian and late-Roman archaeology — the catacombs themselves, the burial rites used in them, the Greek and Latin inscriptions, recent conservation work.
The session is on Sunday 21 June 2026, 10:00 am to 11:00 am, in the small theatre room of the Visitor Centre (immediately to the right of the main entrance). It runs as a conversation rather than a lecture; the curator usually opens with a five-minute orientation then takes questions for the rest of the hour.
Free with the regular Catacombs admission ticket. Booking is recommended through the Heritage Malta site because seating is limited. After the talk you can walk down into the catacombs themselves — give yourself another 60–90 minutes for that.
