What it is
Xewkija's feast has one of Gozo's strongest church backdrops: the huge Rotunda of St John the Baptist. The church is Gozo's largest and its dome is a landmark visible from much of the island, making this a good festa for visitors who want a dramatic setting rather than only street atmosphere.
