What it is
Rabat's St Paul feast has one of the strongest historical claims of any Malta festa. The basilica stands beside the traditional site of St Paul's Grotto, where Paul is said to have stayed after the shipwreck, so this event works well for visitors interested in early Christian Malta as much as fireworks.
