What it is
Qrendi's Assumption feast has a smaller-village feel but a serious parish setting: the church was rebuilt in Baroque form to designs associated with Lorenzo Gafa. It is a good festa to combine with nearby Hagar Qim and Mnajdra earlier in the day, then return to the village square for the evening procession and fireworks.
