What it is
An acoustic concert built around film-score themes — Morricone, Yann Tiersen, Joe Hisaishi, classic Bond and Bernstein — arranged for a trio of violin, double bass and piano. No backing tracks, no electronic padding, just the three instruments and what they can carry between them.
The concert is at Teatru Salesjan in Sliema on Saturday 6 June 2026. Teatru Salesjan is a small black-box venue on Triq Guze Howard — about 190 seats, sightlines from every row. Doors 7:30 pm, music from 8:00 pm.
The trio rotate the lead role piece-by-piece, so the programme is more varied than a piano-led recital. Original arrangements; the printed programme lists the films each theme came from. Parking is hard around Tower Road on a Saturday evening — take a bus into Sliema or park at the Tigne Point garage and walk.
